Our store is named after my Mom, 

Antonina Cavacini, "Ann" for short. She was born April 26, 1932 in Washington, D.C., to Italian immigrants.  She always enjoyed shopping and being welcomed at

our store with a friendly,

"Hello, Mama Ann."  She loved choosing gifts for others and helping our store succeed by supporting her local small business.  When she passed away July 26, 2018, we renamed our store in her honor. A caricature of her is on our Virginia made food products and on our sign outside.  Her memory lives on.
